Large transport capability and repair services can make the difference between an enjoyable ride and a bad day. We'll be there for you when things go awry, with a goal to get you back on the road, or if necessary transport you home. They don't call it 'Support And Gear' for nothing!
Here's a summary of our service offering:
- Bicycles are transported securely inside the vehicle
- Freightliner (aka Daimler Benz 'Mercedes') Sprinter Crew Van seats 4 passengers + driver, in air-conditioned, cushy seat, big window comfort*
- Your driver is Geoffrey Smith, owner, BikePartners.net
- Unblemished driving record in 43 years of trying
- Cold and/or warm electric food storage
- Electrolyte replacement drink
- French Press locally roasted coffee for early morning starts
- Lunch can be arranged for full-day rides at additional charge
- Roaming vehicle support during the ride
- Full complement of tools for mechanical assistance. BikePartners.net owner Geoffrey Smith provides skilled mechanic services
- Geoffrey is certified in American Red Cross first aid and CPR & Wilderness First Aid, and he is an Eagle Scout (really)
- Included: All vehicle expenses including fuel (assuming Sonoma County support; fuel charges additional for travel to other counties)
- Chemical port-a-jon on board
- Shade awning and folding chairs, for hanging out
*Important: We offer SAG services only. We transport riders in the event of a support incident such as bicycle break-down or rider's health or well-being.
Rates:
- Hourly: $60
- Half-day (5 hours maximum): $275. ($55/hour)
- Full-day (8 hours maximum): $400. ($50/hour)
- Overtime: $60 per hour
