Our customers say it best!

This is a very well-run business. My bike needed a general tune-up: broken derailleurs, flat tire and more. Their on-line reservation system resulted in an immediate appointment. I had an estimate that day with work completed promptly at a very fair price. The workmanship and knowledge were outstanding. Topping it off, Geof delivered my bike to my home when completed. This family-owned business has high standards at reasonable prices all delivered with a helpful, professional attitude. Highly recommended!

Inquired about a bike rental just as a giant group of tourists left on their bikes - so I felt lucky to get one! My rental was a Montague "Paratrooper" which turned out to be a wonderful ride. I'd never ridden a folder before and this was a very educational experience. The proprietor was quite friendly and competent - fitted me out with no wasted effort and got me out on the road. Will certainly patronize again when in Santa Rosa.

I rented a bike at BikePartners from Saturday to Sunday for a little less than $40 with the Yelp check-in deal. Bike worked great (brakes were strong, tires pumped) and had a straight handlebar, something I was looking for in particular since I'm not a huge fan of the drop down handlebars on road bikes. Geoffrey, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. He set up the bike and mapped out some nice bike routes in the area. Returning the bike was one of the most uniquely awesome parts of my experience. We just left the bike with the Hyatt Regency (Santa Rosa) where we were staying - Geoffrey picked it up after we checked out! Super easy.

We went to the Welcome Center to find out information about renting bikes & visiting local wineries.  We were referred to Bike Partners right down the street.  Geoffrey was extremely nice & helpful, we made our reservation & returned several days later to pick up our bikes, helmets, tool kit & maps.  Geoffrey provided us the map & marked the route & showed how to get on the bike path. Everything was in excellent condition & we had a wonderful experience.

Happy happy happy.  Riding through Seattle winter commutes with a cheesy smile, the Pocket Companion OSATA by Bike Friday fits neatly folded in my trunk, then after clicking two quick releases I am off from the Park N Ride to the train station.  Geoffrey was a very enthusiastic and helpful salesman, and shipped my bicycle safely and promptly.  A great experience with this Bike Friday dealership.  Thanks again!

I live in Sacramento and was looking for a place to check out Bike Fridays. Through their site I learned of Bikpartners. I popped in on a Friday and was pleasantly greeted by Geoffrey. I told him I was looking for a folding bike. He asked the perfect questions to ascertain what my wants/needs were. He explained the differences between the various folding bike manufacturers. After trying out a few different brands, I bought a Tern. A couple of weeks later, I am so happy with my decision.
He also told me about registering the bike to get a longer warranty. I don't usually register my purchases, but I'm glad I did. Now I have a free 10 year warranty on my Tern.
It's nice to go to a shop and get such personalized service. Geoffrey is a great guy and is very knowledgeable. I'll be back for my next purchase!

My husband and I had a weekend visit to Santa Rosa and wanted to tour around on two wheels and visit some wineries. We rented the Family Tandem Traveler and had a great experience starting with coordinating the rental with Geoffrey. He took the time out of his schedule the night before our journey and set us up with the bike, maps, and gear we needed. We had a blast!!

Geoffrey was so helpful with our party of renters and owners. I always wanted to try a folding bike and truly enjoyed the portability of the bike.  We were staying in Santa Rosa, so the location was excellent.  He helped us not only outfitting our party, but also helped with selecting the routes for the very broad levels of cyclists in our group.  Drove out to Bodega Bay and unfolded the bikes and rode out there. The next day on some local trails. Will definitely do this again next time in the area.

Geoffrey and his wife are amazing!

We had a large group and needed to rent bikes for a fun day of exploring the wineries of Santa Rosa.  Not only was BikePartners flexible with the amount we reserved in advance, but they also delivered the bikes to our vacation home!  This saved us a lot of time and hassell. They were happy to pick the bikes up the next morning, which allowed us to take our time and enjoy the bikes without needing to race back to return them by the end of the business day.

Geoffrey and his wife were extremely accommodating, responsible, passionate, and a complete pleasure to work with!  I would certainly recommend BikePartners to anyone looking to rent or buy a bike near Santa Rosa/Healdsburg.

Happy riders :)

Geoffrey's a good guy and it's great that his main vendor, Bike Friday, is seeding this location with the very latest in cool bikes for rental!    (Ironically, I rode by the location a few days ago, on my own Bike Friday -- as I pull up to the corner a motorist shouts out: "hey, is that a Moulton?" heh).

The location is very handy in the coming months -- right near the SMART train station.

TANDEM BIKED THROUGH WINE COUNTRY AND LOVED IT!!!  We rented a bike and parked at City Hall in Healdsburg which is a free parking and a known starting point for bikers to do the wine country loop.  We did 36 miles, so we rented the quicker tandem of the two bike styles.  My wife and I love tandem bikes because it allows us to hear each other the whole time and it allows me to satisfy the ADHD type mentality I have (basically that means I can pedal as fast as I like and never have to wait up), but guys no matter how strong of a rider you think you are you definitely cannot get by without help. I let my wife know when I need extra assistance, like when to pedal a little harder on hills and also when to coast, it's a great bonding experience.
Some tips for riding a tandem in wine country: ride defensively, don't hug the side of the rode too much because you can't correct it easily if you go off, don't speed too much because their are no disc brakes so the bike doesn't stop real well (our top speed was 38 miles and hour and in hindsight I don't think that was safe to be going that fast), the shifting has an internal geared hub on the high sprocket and a de-railer on the lower side, so I mainly used the internal geared hub since it is a direct exchange, you can down shift to lowest gear when the bike is stationary. If this doesn't make sense ask the owner  to explain because this is a "VERY" important feature for starting with a tandem or climbing hills, basically it makes you be able to go from high gear to low gear or vice versa instantly.  When you start you want to be in a low gear.  Wear bright colors like a chartreuse jacket so drivers see you, most drivers went very far around us and it was greatly appreciated.

This little shop fills a great niche for bike rentals in the Santa Rosa area. If you're like me and don't pack you're bike rack when traveling, these collapsible bikes are a great alternative.  For my first go on a collapsible bike, I was surprised at the performance and ease of use. Geoffrey was really helpful, has a well maintained fleet of bikes and also offers suggestions for good rides in the area.  Next time I'm near Santa Rosa and need my fix for two wheeled transportation, I know where to go.

I bought a couple of Bike Fridays from BikePartners. Geoffrey was helpful, knowledgeable, and generous. He is not pushy and will do right by you. Certainly if you want a buy, try, or rent a Bike Friday you couldn't do better than to visit BikePartners.
