The TerraTrike Rover Tandem Independent Pedaling System (IPS), rear, makes it possible for the rear rider ('stoker') to coast while the front rider ('captain') pedals. This is a very useful feature for stokers with disabilities or other challenges that make pedaling difficult or impossible.
