The Bike Friday Pocket bike rear folding rack is a sturdy, tour-ready, foldable rear rack that packs flat in your suitcase. Designed at the BF factory to take all standard panniers. Provides good clearance for, ahem, big feet. Handcrafted by Bike Friday in Eugene, Oregon. CroMoly (chrome-molybdenum), black. 55lb limit. This is a sturdy, high-tensile tubular steel rack, not aluminum like most of the other racks out there. Little Known Fact: This rack is compatible with ALL bicycles with touring eyelets -- those threaded holes or tabs that the ends of the rack bolt onto with the 5mm (M5) bolt. Simply modify/shorten/drill the stainless arms that mount to the seat stay to suit your particular bike. Pickup one of these rugged racks for your touring bike, and your packing will go a lot easier on your next trip! Includes 5mm bolts and spacers. Please note: if you have a hinge forward or belt-drive Bike Friday with a split chain stay cross bar, you will need a single 90mm bolt to connect the rack front stays. |
